Born in Lisbon, Portugal (2018), we now have offices in **Lisbon and San Francisco** and remain self-funded while reaching **100M+ downloads worldwide**. ## The Role As a **Senior iOS Engineer**, you’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining our suite of iOS applications—ensuring **high performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience**. You’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, and fellow developers to ship new features and continuously optimize our apps. *Note: This post is intended to build our talent pool while we prepare to launch the official job. If/when it’s posted, we’ll reach out to you.* ## Responsibilities - Develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications focused on **performance** and **user experience** - Take ownership of development processes to ensure **clean, maintainable, scalable code** - Collaborate cross-functionally to design, develop, and launch new features - Implement **CI/CD pipelines** and deployment best practices - Conduct **code reviews** and mentor junior engineers - Stay current with iOS trends and integrate relevant advancements ## Requirements - **5+ years** of professional iOS development experience - Proficiency in **Swift** and familiarity with **Objective-C** - Strong understanding of **iOS SDKs**, **UIKit**, and **SwiftUI** - Experience with **CI/CD**, **Gitflow**, and **automated testing** - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently - Experience in **Agile (Kanban)** environments - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with **remote teams** ## What Benefits Do We Offer? - Apple hardware ecosystem for work - Annual bonus - Medical insurance (including vision & dental) - Disability insurance (short- and long-term) - 401k up to 4% contribution - Air Conference (meet the team, collaborate, grow) - Transportation budget - Free meals at the hub - Gym membership ## Diversity & Inclusion Air Apps is committed to fostering a **diverse, inclusive, and equitable** workplace.
