Born in Lisbon, Portugal (2018) and now with offices in both Lisbon and San Francisco, we’re self-funded and have reached **100M+ downloads worldwide**. ## The Role — System Administrator As a **Systems Administrator** at Air Apps, you’ll manage and maintain corporate IT infrastructure, user access, and SaaS tools to ensure a secure and efficient work environment. You’ll oversee device management, network security, access control, and IT support across the organization. ## Responsibilities - Manage and maintain corporate IT infrastructure (SaaS applications, cloud services, internal systems) - Oversee user access, account provisioning, and identity management (e.g., **Google Workspace, Okta, Azure AD**) - Ensure network security, endpoint protection, and data encryption policies are in place - Monitor and optimize hardware/software performance; troubleshoot issues as needed - Implement and enforce IT security best practices (e.g., **MFA**, **RBAC**) - Maintain and support company-wide SaaS tools (e.g., **Slack, Zoom, Notion, Atlassian**) - Support onboarding/offboarding by setting up and deactivating accounts - Automate IT operations, workflows, and system monitoring - Maintain software licenses, compliance requirements, and IT documentation - Provide technical support and training to employees ## Requirements - **3+ years** experience in IT administration, systems administration, or IT support - Experience managing cloud-based corporate IT environments (e.g., **Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure**) - Proficiency in IAM tools (e.g., **Okta, Azure AD, JumpCloud**) - Knowledge of endpoint management/MDM (e.g., **Jamf, Intune, Kandji**) - Familiarity with network security, VPNs, firewalls, and **zero-trust** security models - IT automation/scripting experience is a plus (**Bash, PowerShell, Python**) - Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and connectivity - Understanding of IT compliance and data privacy (e.g., **GDPR, SOC 2**) - Excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, remote-first environment ## Benefits - Apple hardware ecosystem for work - Annual bonus - Medical insurance (including vision & dental) - Disability insurance (short- and long-term) - 401(k) up to 4% contribution - Air Conference (meet the team, collaborate, grow) - Transportation budget - Free meals at the hub - Gym membership ## Diversity & Inclusion Air Apps is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace.
