You’ll work closely with **product, design, and machine learning** teams to design and build **services, APIs, and tools** that support our **SaaS** products—helping correct clinical errors for **hundreds of thousands of patients** and deliver **hundreds of millions of dollars** in measurable value for customers. These products improve physician documentation quality, help clinicians identify missing diagnoses, convert documentation to medical codes, and ensure financial integrity for health systems. --- ## What You’ll Do - Build and deliver cutting-edge experiences at large healthcare organizations - Create and maintain backend services; build on top of machine learning to solve challenging customer problems - Design, build, and maintain shared **APIs, tools, services, and applications** that form the foundation of the technology ecosystem - Bring creative solutions, knowledge-share, and help shape platform architecture - Lead and participate in design discussions, planning sessions, and code reviews - Partner closely with product, design, and machine learning teams - Mentor junior engineers --- ## Skills & Qualifications - **B.S.** in Computer Science/Software Engineering (or related field) - **5+ years** professional experience in software development or machine learning - **Python** required - Proven track record with **SaaS** products - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with meticulous attention to detail - Experience building consumer applications on top of ML pipelines - Familiarity with **FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Postgres** - Proficiency in **Docker, Kubernetes, AWS** - **CI/CD** experience with **GitHub Actions** - Strong system design principles - Healthcare data exchange experience (**FHIR, HL7, EDI**) is a plus --- ## What We Offer - Flexible paid time off (PTO) - Health, dental, and vision coverage - Employer contribution to **Health Savings Accounts (HSA)** - Generous parental leave policy - Full employee coverage for life insurance - Home office stipend - Cell phone/internet reimbursement - Company-paid holidays - **401(K)** plan --- ## Compensation - **$180,000–$230,000 + Equity** (based on marke
