**Developer 2** 📍 Kolkata, India | Hybrid (2 days in office) **About the Role** Responsible for overall product performance through software engineering principles. You'll develop high-quality software, ensure timely delivery within release timelines, and write clean, thoughtful code that scales reliably. **Key Responsibilities** • Develop code based on functional specifications with focus on refactoring and architectural improvements • Test code and create automated tests (unit tests, test automation frameworks) • Perform peer code reviews and interpret software requirements • Contribute to delivery pipeline implementation (test automation, security, performance) • Support team standards, planning, estimation, and reviews • Provide troubleshooting support for production and code issues **Required Skills** • Bachelor's degree + 3-6 years software engineering experience • Proficiency in Java, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Python, or JavaScript • Experience with Windows/Linux development environments • Knowledge of build environments, delivery pipelines, CI/CD tools • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills **Preferred Qualifications** • Demonstrated drive to learn and stay current professionally • Experience identifying refactoring and architectural improvements • Data-driven approach to process improvements • Flexibility for up to 10% travel for team collaboration **About Hyland** Pioneer of the Content Innovation Cloud™, delivering enterprise intelligence to Fortune 100 companies and thousands of organizations worldwide.
