Serve as a subject matter expert across multiple computing areas, with knowledge of molecular biology and genetics. Work collaboratively with the Principal Investigator (PI) to select computational methods and tools for large-scale biological data analysis. Prepare reports for presentation or publication, and assist the PI in meeting system needs for multiple research projects and/or labs. **About the Ghersi Lab** The Ghersi Lab focuses on computational approaches to understand life at the molecular level, with emphasis on cancer genomics, immunoinformatics, and structural bioinformatics. The Computational Biologist I will assist Dr. Ghersi with bio-informational data processing and gathering, requiring working knowledge of both statistics and bioinformatics techniques.
