We serve the defense, space, healthcare, and energy sectors, helping agencies navigate complexity and outpace change. **About the Role** We're seeking a motivated Junior Python Programmer to support development of innovative health-focused software solutions. You'll collaborate with developers, data scientists, and healthcare professionals to develop systems that calculate payment data and inform Medicare and Medicare Advantage policy related to risk adjustment. **Key Responsibilities** • Write, test, and maintain clean, efficient Python code for health-related projects • Implement backend services, APIs, and integrations with healthcare platforms (EHR/EMR systems) • Develop and optimize database interactions (Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) • Assist in designing and building RESTful APIs for healthcare data exchange • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document code/workflows • Stay updated on Python programming and healthcare IT best practices **Minimum Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field • 2+ years professional Python programming experience • Proficiency with Python (PySpark, Pandas, NumPy, Polars, or similar) • Basic SQL/NoSQL database knowledge • Experience with Git version control • Agile/Scrum experience with JIRA • Unit and integration testing experience • Strong problem-solving and communication skills **Preferred Qualifications** • Federal consulting experience • Healthcare data projects (claims processing, payment systems) • HIPAA compliance awareness • Docker and cloud environments (AWS, Azure) **Salary Range:** $70,000 - $104,000 **Location:** US-Remote
