## Responsibilities Join Peraton in advancing the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) through the FAA’s Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) contract. As a trusted partner to the Federal Aviation Administration, Peraton helps deliver the systems and services that keep our nation’s skies safe and connected. Peraton is seeking a **System & Data Integration Specialist** to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with **end-to-end integration of the E-IDS operational environment**. **Core responsibilities include:** - Support full **E-IDS system integration** across data, layouts, network components, and facility workflows - Gather operational requirements directly from **FAA facilities** - Build **LDAs** by mapping **NDC fields** to site-specific operational needs - Validate **data accuracy**, **layout behavior**, **system interfaces**, and **interoperability** - Deploy configurations and support iterative refinement across **test and operational environments** - Document field mappings, layout decisions, template structures, system behaviors, and configuration changes - Support integration activities including **hardware setup**, **logistics coordination**, **software configuration**, and **cutover** - Understand and apply **Interface Control Documents (ICDs)**, engineering drawings, and technical baselines - Troubleshoot connectivity issues using standard **Cisco diagnostic commands** - Experience integrating communications equipment with **enterprise networks** - Support deployment and commissioning activities - Troubleshoot common **Linux operational issues** - Verify implementation packages before deployment - Collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams and communicate technical issues to engineering and management audiences - Analyze and resolve technical problems in a structured manner ## Work Location & Travel - **Remote work permitted**, but candidates must reside within the **contiguous United States** - Must be able to travel **50–90%** of the time to support deployments at **CONUS** and potentially **OCONUS** locations ## Qualifications ### Basic Qualifications - **U.S. Citizenship required** - Ability to obtain/maintain a **Public Trust clearance** - Education & experience: - **Bachelor’s + 12 years** related experience, or - **Master’s + 10 years**, or - **Associate’s + 14 years**, or - **High school/equivalent + 16 years** - Demonstrated experience with **hardware and software deployment/installation** in enterprise environments - Hands-on experience configuring, managing, and validating one or more of: - **Cisco**, **Dell**, and/or **HPE/Aruba** - Experience analyzing end-to-end system functionality, validating architecture, tracing data flows, and troubleshooting interface issues across integrated systems - Hands-on experience supporting **Linux-based systems and environments** ### Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with **FAA NAS**, **E-IDS**, or other mission-critical operational systems - Understanding of **Air Traffic Control (ATC)** operational workflows and time-critical information requirements - Knowledge of **Local Data Administration (LDA)**, **National Data Configuration (NDC)**, and operational display configuration - Systems integration experience in complex, multi-vendor network/communications/infrastructure/software environments - Experience with vendor-specific management interfaces (e.g., **Cisco Web GUI**, **Dell Open
