Its open platform integrates with nearly 650 software, data, and consulting partners to power end-to-end investment operations across firms of all sizes and complexity. ### The Role We’re seeking an experienced backend software engineer to join the Platform Integrations team. You’ll help build client onboarding solutions that enable clients to bring their data into our systems so they can report, analyze, and understand it—working with all their data in one central place. You’ll interface with Product and Client Solutions teams to deeply understand data and client needs. You’ll implement performant workflows and data systems that users depend on for day-to-day operations, with a focus on quality, user experience, low friction for internal teams, and high scalability. ### What You’ll Do - Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Client Solutions, and other engineering teams to deliver holistic client onboarding solutions - Write well-designed, tested code to solve complex engineering problems - Lead individual projects, including ownership of technical solution and architecture design, timeline/estimation, and implementation - Communicate technical ideas and steer project direction from an engineering standpoint - Mentor and guide other engineers on the team ### Who You Are - 7+ years of experience as a software engineer (Python and/or Java preferred) - Strong ownership mindset and communication skills; enjoy taking ideas from inception to production - Robust analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience with data processing and analysis using PySpark (or similar) is a plus - Experience building data systems using AWS is a plus ### Values - **Act Like an Owner** — Think and operate with intention, purpose, and care; own outcomes - **Build Together** — Collaborate to unlock the best solutions; deliver lasting value - **Champion Our Clients** — Exceed client expectations; clients’ success is our success - **Drive Innovation** — Be bold and unconstrained in problem solving; transform the industry - **Embrace Learning** — Engage our community; bring a growth mindset ### Compensation & Work Authorization - Market-based pay approach; starting pay depends on role, skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions. - Current range for this role: **$150,000–$234,000 (base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits** (base salary only; bonus/equity/benefits not included). - Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future visa sponsorship and must be authorized to begin work on the first day. ### Important: Phishing Scam Warning Addepar has been made aware of phishing scams where imposters pose as hiring managers via email/text/social media, conduct fake “interviews,” and make fake offers to collect personal/financial information. **No job offers will be made without a formal interview process**, and **Addepar will not ask you to purchase equipment or supplies** during onboarding.
