You'll build product systems to find, qualify, activate, and retain experts — working directly with Growth, Operations, Design, and the founders. --- ### 🛠️ Responsibilities - Build end-to-end product experiences across expert acquisition, onboarding, assessments, matching, and retention - Partner with Growth & Ops to identify bottlenecks, instrument funnels, and ship improvements fast - Own experiments from hypothesis → build → measure → iterate - Develop internal tools and automation to make operational teams more effective - Create durable product primitives and clean interfaces over one-off workflows - Make clear tradeoffs between speed, reliability, and maintainability --- ### ✅ Required Qualifications - 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience - Strong full-stack ability with a track record of shipping user-facing product - Excellent product sense — identify the real problem, not just the first requested solution - Comfortable translating non-technical partner needs into robust systems - High ownership, strong judgment, moves fast without unnecessary complexity --- ### ⭐ Preferred Qualifications - Experience in growth engineering, marketplace liquidity, onboarding, or conversion optimization - Background at a fast-growing startup with high engineer ownership - Interest in AI, data products, or scalable tooling --- ### 🎁 Benefits - 🏥 Medical, Vision & Dental Insurance - 💰 401(k) with Employer Match - 🍱 Daily UberEats Stipend - 🧘 Monthly Wellness Stipend - 🚌 Commute Covered --- *AfterQuery is an equal opportunity employer.
