**Staff / Senior Deployment & Release Manager** **About AeroVect** AeroVect is transforming ground handling with autonomy, redefining how airlines and ground service providers operate globally. Series A company backed by top-tier venture capital investors in aviation and autonomous driving. **The Role** Own deployment and release processes for AeroVect's Autonomous Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) service. Work directly with the Director of Safety, Systems, and Product and VP of Engineering to develop data-driven processes ensuring safe, reliable deployments at scale. **Key Responsibilities** • Evaluate and approve deployments for defined Operational Design Domains (ODDs) • Ensure only verified, validated, and approved systems and vehicles are deployed • Support AV bringup from receipt through commissioning to first autonomous missions • Own recurring software release process including gates, QA, and approval criteria • Partner with Engineering and Safety & Systems on verification through simulation, closed course, shadow mode, and supervised testing • Schedule and execute fleet software updates with zero downtime during peak hours • Define and maintain configuration for every vehicle type (components, firmware, parameters, connectivity) • Drive change management process and lead review board for configuration changes • Maintain compliant documentation of all changes with supporting artifacts **Required Qualifications** • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or equivalent • Extensive experience developing and managing safety-critical autonomous deployments • Strong understanding of software development, system architecture, and cloud infrastructure • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and align on unified processes • Ability to communicate technical issues to all business levels **Preferred Qualifications** • MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field • Experience fostering safety culture in aviation/airline or robotics applications • Familiarity with airport/airline operations and airside driving environments • Knowledge of safety standards (ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL 4600, IEC 61508, ANSI B56.5, ISO 3691, ANSI 15.08)
