**Senior Systems Engineer** **About AeroVect** Transforming ground handling with autonomy. Series A company backed by top-tier venture capital investors in aviation and autonomous driving. Customers include some of the world's largest airlines and ground handling providers. **What You'll Do** • Own design, analysis, and verification & validation of assigned subsystems within autonomous vehicle system architecture • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy autonomous driving systems • Define and track KPIs for your areas to support data-driven engineering and system performance • Build data collection and analysis pipelines for verification & validation processes • Author and maintain requirements documentation, traceability, and system architecture artifacts • Define system behaviors for critical safety scenarios • Surface risks early and coordinate solutions with teams involved • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team engineering practices • Travel up to 25% **What You Have** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 4+ years experience with autonomous systems or safety-critical systems • Hands-on systems engineering experience (V Model, requirements documentation, traceability, V&V) • Basic proficiency in Python and SQL • Experience contributing to interdisciplinary teams developing robotic systems or autonomous vehicles • Exposure to functional safety and SOTIF concepts • Strong technical communication skills • Hands-on approach and willingness to engage deeply **We Prefer** • Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field • Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS, Jama, Flow, Polarion, Enterprise Architect) • Working knowledge of safety standards (ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL 4600, IEC 61508, ISO 3691)
