**Software Developer III - Forecast Systems and Visualization** AccuWeather is seeking an experienced software developer to modernize core forecast processing systems and weather information visualization. You'll design, implement, and enhance software that processes real-time weather content and model data for consumer and enterprise products. **Key Responsibilities** • Develop testable, deployable, and monitorable production software • Write and maintain software documentation • Provide technical support for software issues and inquiries • Revise software for corrections, enhancements, and system updates • Train end users and technical support staff • Stay current with relevant technologies • Develop workflows, QC, and documentation activities • Perform data ingestion, transformation, loading, and optimization • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders **Required Qualifications** • 5+ years software development experience • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Self-driven with excellent communication and collaboration abilities • Cloud-based architecture experience • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python preferred) • Relational database experience • Agile methodology experience (a plus) • Azure certification (a plus) **About AccuWeather** AccuWeather is the world's most accurate and most-used weather forecasting source, serving billions globally across digital platforms, media, and enterprise solutions.
