**Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Infra/Ops - Fraud** **About the Role** Join Plaid's Data team within the Fraud organization to build machine learning systems that power fraud detection products. You'll own the development of high-performance feature computation and online inference pipelines, build robust observability and monitoring capabilities, and partner with ML Infrastructure, Data Science, and Product teams. **Key Responsibilities** • Build and scale ML systems powering a rapidly growing fraud detection product • Solve complex technical challenges at the intersection of ML, data infrastructure, and production reliability • Develop foundational ML capabilities leveraging Plaid's financial network data • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and cross-functional partners **Required Qualifications** • 6+ years of experience building, deploying, and scaling production ML systems • Strong ML infrastructure and operations expertise (deployment, monitoring, reliability) • Proven ability to independently own and deliver complex, end-to-end ML engineering projects • Proficiency with Python and ML/data technologies (PyTorch, Spark, SageMaker, Airflow) **Nice-to-Have** • Experience in fraud or risk domains • Graph machine learning experience **About Plaid** Plaid powers the tools millions rely on for healthier financial lives, working with thousands of companies including Venmo, SoFi, Fortune 500 companies, and major banks.
