Scientific Cloud is the connective tissue powering data and technology infrastructure across Flagship's portfolio. **The Position** The Senior Research Systems Analyst manages and optimizes digital platforms powering scientific research and data management across Pioneering Medicines and Flagship Labs companies. You'll administer core research platforms (Benchling, CDD Vault, Quilt, AWS, Code Ocean, Seqera, etc.), translate stakeholder requirements into system configurations, troubleshoot issues, and stand up systems for emerging companies. A key focus: staying current on AI features within these platforms and providing researchers with practical use cases and recommendations. **Core Responsibilities** **Research Systems Administration & Support** • Administer and optimize core research systems including ELN, LIMS, and data management platforms • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate R&D requirements into actionable system configurations • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for research and scientific systems • Monitor system performance, coordinate with IT infrastructure teams, and manage vendor relationships **Implementation & Portfolio Company Onboarding** • Partner with startups to stand up and configure core research systems • Implement system configurations, data structures, and integrations tailored to each company's stage • Train startup teams on platform best practices and workflows • Identify opportunities for future integrations and enhancements **AI Features & Usage** • Maintain working knowledge of AI features available within core research platforms • Stay current as new capabilities are released • Develop practical use cases and recommendations for researchers to maximize platform value
