**Senior Frontend Engineer, Home Experience** **About the Role** The Feeds Experience team is responsible for one of the highest traffic pages on Reddit's platform. You'll work at massive scale with hundreds of millions of users to build smooth, intuitive, and delightful feed experiences across Reddit apps and website. **What You'll Do** • Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering to build novel products users will love • Collaborate with a team of thoughtful, fast-moving engineers and mentor teammates • Own the full development cycle: design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch • Drive critical projects across Reddit's web architecture alongside backend and client engineers • Enable metrics-led execution with focus on operational excellence and system observability • Partner with leadership to develop roadmaps aligned with product and engineering goals **Who You Are** • 6+ years of software development experience with frontend languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6) • Experience with modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, LIT, Polymer) and CSS • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks while keeping projects on schedule • BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience • Deep focus on user experience and usability; advocate for the user • Self-directed, innovative, and biased toward action in fast-paced environments • Excellent communication skills in fully remote environments • *Plus:* GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift experience; large-scale web application knowledge **Benefits** • Comprehensive healthcare, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) with employer match • Flexible vacation and paid volunteer time off • Generous paid parental leave • Mental health and coaching benefits • Family planning and gender-affirming care support • Professional development and workspace benefits **Compensation** Base salary range: $190,800 – $267,100 USD (plus equity and potential commission) *Reddit is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse workforce.*
