**Mainframe Service Delivery Manager (TX DIR)** **About the Role** Peraton is hiring a Mainframe Service Delivery Manager to support the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR). You'll provide operational and technical leadership across 14 IBM mainframes—9 at the Austin Data Center (ADC) and 5 at the San Angelo Data Center (SDC). **Key Responsibilities** • Lead IBM mainframe operations, production control, and batch scheduling across multiple data centers • Manage system software, technical support, and infrastructure currency • Track and report MIPS/CPU consumption • Manage mainframe networking and coordinate software procurement • Plan, test, and execute disaster recovery activities • Support mainframe application replatforming to modern platforms • Ensure CJIS, IRS Publication 1075, and data security compliance • Maintain operational stability, availability, and performance **Required Qualifications** • 10+ years of experience (may include supervisory/lead roles) • 8+ years of IBM mainframe operations in production government environments • IBM z/OS systems administration and software management experience • Production control and batch scheduling experience (CA7, TWS/OPC, or equivalent) • Mainframe networking experience (VTAM/NCP, TCP/IP on z/OS) • Disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution experience • Strong technical leadership and incident resolution skills • US Citizen required • Must be local to Austin/San Angelo area or willing to relocate **Preferred Qualifications** • Mainframe application replatforming experience • Mainframe-to-cloud migration experience • Hybrid mainframe/cloud environment experience • IBM Certified Systems Operator (z/OS) or equivalent • IBM z/OS System Programmer certification **Compensation** $104,000 - $166,000 (based on experience, education, skills, and location)
