**Senior Software Engineer I** **What You'll Do:** Build full-stack applications as part of CoreWeave's Applications Engineering team. You'll work on UNION, our data platform, and internal tools that power infrastructure planning and operations. Own features end-to-end in production—from interface to data model. Work with TypeScript/React/Next.js frontends, Python services on Kubernetes, and Postgres/lakehouse backends. Significant focus on AI-facing work: natural language interfaces, agents on governed data, and evaluation frameworks. **About the Role:** You'll sit with users to understand unspecified problems, design solutions, and ship software they adopt. You own what you build in production and are responsible when it breaks. Most processes here are unwritten, so discovery and definition are core to the work. **Requirements:** • 5+ years building and operating production software (backend + modern web frontends) • Strong Python and TypeScript with React, Next.js, or comparable framework experience • HTTP API design: timeouts, retries, handling partial failures • Strong SQL and relational data modeling, including live schema changes • Shipped LLM-backed features to production with evaluation/measurement • Hands-on Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and service operations • Wired applications to data platforms (Spark, Kafka, StarRocks, Snowflake, etc.) • CI/CD, automated testing, observability, on-call ownership • Collaborated with non-engineers on unspecified problems **Preferred:** • AI-native applications (text-to-SQL, copilots, agents, insight generation) • Agent frameworks (LangGraph) and tracing/evaluation tooling • Distributed systems in cloud-native/Kubernetes environments • Open table formats (Iceberg, Delta, Hudi) and query engines • Internal platforms for self-service analytics • Operationally heavy domains (capacity planning, supply chain, finance) **Why You?** You want to know your users by name.
