We're building the operating system for digital products. **The Role** Join the Statsig team as a Product Engineer to help shape how companies learn, iterate, and ship better experiences. This is an ownership role where you'll operate as a technical leader, not just executing tickets. **What You'll Do** • Own critical product surfaces end-to-end from ideation to production • Drive product direction in partnership with design and product leaders • Build and evolve systems across React and Node.js that scale with customer growth • Leverage modern AI tooling to accelerate development and iteration • Raise the bar for engineering quality across code, architecture, and UX • Lead through hands-on development, mentorship, and thoughtful decision-making • Move fast on ambiguous problems, turning ideas into shipped customer value **What We're Looking For** • 5+ years of software engineering experience • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent technical background • Senior-level scope: led large, ambiguous initiatives with significant business impact • Strong full-stack expertise (React + Node.js/Python) • Deep sense of ownership and exceptional product taste • AI-native mindset—actively use and experiment with latest AI tools • Ability to balance speed and quality in high-velocity environments • Strong judgment in technical trade-offs and system design **What Sets You Apart** • Think like a product builder first, engineer second • Constantly reinvent how you work using cutting-edge tools • Energized by open-ended problems with no clear "right" answer • Hold a high bar for your work, team, and product • Turn ambiguity into clarity and momentum **Compensation & Benefits** Equity, benefits, and competitive compensation. Salary ranges vary by location: • Colorado, California (non-Bay Area), Washington: $165,000 - $247,000 • San Francisco Bay Area, New York City: $183,000 - $276,000 *All figures represent total target cash inclusive of bonus/commission.*
