## Obi9 — Full-Stack Engineer (REMOTE, US time zones) **Contract or Full-time** **Link:** https://obi9.ai/jobs/full-stack-engineer ### About the role Obi9 helps hedge funds track therapeutics by ingesting and surfacing what matters from press releases, SEC filings, management calls, government sites, and clinical data publications. You’ll own end-to-end product surfaces (not just tickets) because the team is early and small. ### What you’ll do - Ship full-stack features end to end, from the data model to the interface. - Build ingestion and enrichment pipelines that turn raw data into rich insights and alerts. - Work on AI-backed features—from ideation to serving them in the web app and over **MCP**. - Make heavy data legible: dense tables, financial charts, document viewers, and a live alert stream. ### Tech stack **React + TypeScript, Node, Elixir, Python**, distributed AI pipelines. ### What we’re looking for (pick one world) You don’t need all four—one is enough: - **Financial information systems** (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, AlphaSense, Capital IQ, PitchBook). You understand entity resolution, identifier mapping, and point-in-time data costs. - **Financial domain knowledge in healthcare** (equity research, valuation, or deep experience with filings and models). - **Audio and transcription** (e.g., OtterAI, Deepgram, AssemblyAI, Whisper). You’ve worked on diarization/speaker attribution and turning messy call audio into quotable outputs. - **AI-intensive products where the pipeline is the product** (Legal AI, document intelligence, medical coding).
