**DevSecOps Cloud Automation Engineer - Clearance Required** **Overview** LMI is seeking an experienced DevSecOps & Cloud Automation Engineer to support the U.S. Army Training Information System (ATIS) program. This hands-on role will build, secure, maintain, and optimize automation, infrastructure, and CI/CD capabilities in AWS GovCloud within a SAFe Agile Release Train. **Key Responsibilities** • Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines with reusable jobs, runners, and integrated security testing • Build AWS GovCloud infrastructure using Terraform with emphasis on reusable, resilient solutions • Create and maintain Ansible Playbooks for Windows/Linux installation, patching, and hardening • Support AWS services: EC2, RDS, ECR/EKS, Systems Manager, Secrets Manager • Automate security controls and vulnerability remediation; support DoD security tooling • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, pipeline, and security issues independently • Collaborate across application, cloud, cybersecurity, and architecture teams • Create runbooks, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation • Provide technical guidance and mentorship while remaining hands-on **Required Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 7+ years hands-on DevSecOps, cloud, platform, or infrastructure automation experience • Strong production experience with AWS, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, and Linux • Configuration management experience (Ansible) • Knowledge of containers, cloud networking, IAM, and secure infrastructure design • Experience implementing cybersecurity guardrails and automated security validation • Strong troubleshooting and independent problem-solving skills • **Active DoD Secret security clearance** • **Active DoDI 8140-compliant certification** (Security+, CISSP, CISM, or ability to obtain) **Preferred Qualifications** • AWS GovCloud experience; familiarity with NIST, RMF, DoD 8140 • Kubernetes/EKS, ECR, GitOps experience • Army/DoD security tools (ACAS, Elastic Agent, CloudWatch) • SAFe Agile Release Train experience • DoD or mission-critical systems support background **Salary Range:** $140,000 - $165,000 **Location:** US-Remote **Travel:** Occasional travel required for PI Planning and program events
