About this role
**Role Overview** We’re looking for a **Red Team** member in our **Seattle office**. You’ll dive deep to understand and exploit potential security vulnerabilities, using findings to bypass technical security controls. **What You Will Do** - Perform penetration testing activities on **web, mobile, API, and network** - Provide **remediation guidelines** and improvements based on engagement findings - Conduct **threat actor simulation** activities (**Red Team campaigns**) **Basic Qualifications** - **5+ years** of technical work experience in **offensive security** - Proficiency in **web, mobile, and API testing** - Experience with common penetration testing tools (e.g., **Burp Suite, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Nmap**) - Strong understanding of **OS security** (e.g., Linux) and **networking** (TCP/IP) - Proficiency with **command-line tools** and **Linux** - Confident with at least one programming language (e.g., **Python, Java**) to develop scripts/tools that support testing activities **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience in the **e-commerce** sector - Experience with **cloud** (e.g., **AWS**) and understanding differences vs. traditional data centers - Understanding of **Cyber Kill Chain** and **MITRE ATT&CK** - Degree in **Computer Science/Engineering** or related field - Well-recognized offensive security certifications (e.g., **OSCP/OSCE/OSED, CREST, SANS**) - **Fluent in Korean and English** **Pay & Benefits** - Base pay for Staff position ranges from **$152K/year to $261K/year** (varies by market location and job-related knowledge/skills/experience) - **Annual bonus:** 0–20% of base salary - **Medical/Dental/Vision/Life**, **AD&D** insurance - **FSA** and **HSA** - **Long-term/Short-term Disability** - **Employee Assistance Program (EAP)** - **401K** plan with company match - **18–21 days PTO** per year (based on tenure) - **12 public holidays** - **6 weeks paid parental leave** - Pre-tax commuter benefits - **Free electric car charging station** **Recruitment Process** - Application Review → Phone Interview → Onsite (or Virtual Onsite) Interview → Offer **Notes** - The posting may close early if all openings are filled. - Coupang may rescind an offer if false information is provided. - Privacy notice: https://www.coupang.jobs/privacy-policy/ **Job Requisition ID:** R0078387
