About this role
## Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that meet business and technical requirements - Build reliable, reusable, and scalable code using modern programming languages and frameworks - Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and QA to understand and refine requirements - Translate specifications into working software solutions - Perform unit testing and participate in peer code reviews to ensure quality and performance - Debug and resolve defects across the software development life cycle - Support system integration, deployment, and documentation processes - Follow secure development practices and established coding standards - Participate in Agile/iterative development cycles (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) - Monitor technology trends and recommend improvements or alternative solutions - Contribute to project planning, including estimating time and resource requirements ## Qualifications **Basic Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience, **or** an Associate’s degree and 4 years of experience, **or** a High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years of experience - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future - **U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency (Green Card holders) is required** - 2+ years of hands-on software development with a focus on **Angular 8.0**, **C#**, **.NET Framework 8.0**, and **.NET Core** - Proficiency in C# and experience building web applications and APIs using .NET Framework or .NET Core - Hands-on experience developing front-end applications using **Angular (version 2+ preferred)**, including components, data binding, and routing - Solid understanding of **SQL Server** and experience writing/optimizing stored procedures, functions, and views using **T-SQL** - Experience with **Git** (version control) - Knowledge of **SDLC** methodologies - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Effective communication and collaboration skills **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience in Agile/Scrum environments - Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., **AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud**) - Experience with **CI/CD** pipelines and automated testing tools - Exposure to DevOps practices or container technologies (e.g., **Docker, Kubernetes**) - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) ## Peraton Overview Peraton is a next-generation national security company delivering mission-critical solutions and enterprise IT services across domains including land, sea, space, air, and cyberspace. Salary depends on factors such as scope/responsibilities, experience, education, skills, competencies, and geographic/business/contract considerations.
