**Senior Manager, Software Engineering, Intelligence Systems** **About the Role** Anduril Intelligence Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead and scale a high-velocity team responsible for the software and user-interface ecosystem powering next-generation hardware platforms and System-on-Chip (SoC) devices. You will balance people leadership, technical direction, and operational execution, ensuring your team delivers robust, mission-critical web applications. **Key Responsibilities** • **Team Leadership & People Management** – Mentor and retain a high-performing team of front-end and full-stack software engineers • **Technical Strategy & Architecture** – Guide architectural direction for mission-critical web UIs with high reliability, test coverage, low latency, and seamless state synchronization • **Cross-Functional Collaboration** – Partner with Product Managers, Embedded Systems Engineers, Backend Leads, and Hardware teams **Required Qualifications** • 3+ years managing software engineering teams • 5+ years software development experience with TypeScript, modern CSS/SCSS, and React (Redux Toolkit) • Experience with RESTful APIs, state management, and concurrency • Front-end testing expertise (React Testing Library, Cypress, Jest) • Experience with Protobufs serialization/deserialization • Active U.S. Secret security clearance (minimum) **Preferred Qualifications** • Experience leading teams at hardware/embedded-software intersection (SoC, robotics, IoT, edge computing) • Backend/systems programming (C, C++, Rust, Go) and microservice architecture knowledge • IPC models in embedded contexts • Authentication/authorization in classified or air-gapped environments **Compensation & Benefits** 💰 **Salary Range:** $220,000 – $292,000 USD Competitive equity grants and top-tier benefits package included for full-time employees. **About Anduril** Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology, AI, autonomy, and computer vision.
