**Site Reliability Engineer - FedRAMP** **About The Team** The Rubrik Engineering team produces extraordinary results. Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define next-generation products. **About The Role** Site Reliability Engineers at Rubrik ensure infrastructure services run smoothly and have capacity for future growth. **What You'll Do** • Maintain high availability and durability of databases • Establish best practices for performant SQL queries • Perform periodic database upgrades with minimal downtime • Design, implement, and maintain relational database systems • Manage backend systems like Kubernetes and MySQL • Drive reliability, availability, and efficiency improvements to Polaris Cloud Platform • Participate in on-call rotations (follow-the-sun model) • Write and review code, plan upgrades, develop documentation, and debug production issues • Work cross-functionally with various engineering teams • Build monitoring tools and automation • Drive FedRAMP Certification process **Experience Required** • 2+ years designing and managing relational databases (performance, scalability, reliability, HA, disaster recovery) • Database design supporting large enterprise customers with high SLO/SLA requirements • Experience operating database layer of large-scale SaaS products • Proficiency in Golang, Python, Java, Scala, or C++ • Expertise in large-scale distributed systems • Strong Unix/Linux and networking experience • Google Cloud Platform or public cloud experience • 1-3 years as Development, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer • FedRAMP certification experience strongly desired **Additional Requirements** • U.S. citizenship at time of hire • Residence in contiguous United States • Willingness to undergo Single Source Background Investigation • Willing to provide 24/7 coverage **Security & Privacy Responsibilities** This position carries special security responsibilities including: following system-specific security policies, protecting data and privacy, maintaining compliance, completing role-based training, reporting security issues, and collaborating with Information Security. **Compensation** US Pay Range: $158,000 – $237,000 USD (plus bonus potential, equity, and benefits)
