## Senior Director, Technology Program Management ### Responsibilities - Oversee day-to-day progress of a multifaceted program through constant interaction with the Government customer, technical and business managers, immediate staff, subcontractor partners, and program support personnel. - Blend technical knowledge with strategic management to ensure stability, scalability, and efficiency of complex technical environments. - Oversee employees and subcontractors; direct work across technical and administrative areas. - Provide leadership and mentoring to the team. - Oversee staffing plans, including skill and labor mix, to support contract operations. - Oversee recruiting, interviewing, and hiring; assign staff and provide directions as needed to complete tasks. - Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; direct forecasting efforts for program financial performance. ### Qualifications - 18 years of experience (management experience may be included). - Program/Project management experience. - Up to half of this requirement (up to 10 years) may include military service in command leadership roles (e.g., CO, XO, OIC, COS, OPS). - Program management experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs. - Experience managing federal contracts over $400M. - Working knowledge of VA processes, programs, and policies. - Exceptional representational, oral, and written communication skills; ability to produce clear, logical, and concise products. - Superior organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to interface effectively with personnel at all levels of government. - Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects with cross-functional technical teams. - Experience managing software development, infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT initiatives. - Demonstrated expert ability to work effectively with senior and executive-level government staff. - US Citizenship. - Ability to hold a position of Public Trust. ### Preferred - Bachelor’s degree (relevant field) or Master’s degree (relevant field). - Active VA Public Trust (or equivalent). - DoD security clearance. - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. - Relevant SAFe or other Agile certification. - Experience supporting US Government cloud environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or other secure cloud platforms). - Familiarity with ITIL and IT Service Management (ITSM). - Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cybersecurity compliance frameworks. - Experience managing programs under federal acquisition regulations and performance-based contracts. ### Company **Peraton** — next-generation national security company and enterprise IT provider. ### Target Salary Range **$176,000 - $282,000** (typical range; final offer depends on factors including scope, experience, education, location, and contract/business considerations).
