**Solutions Architect - Hunter (Communications, Media, Entertainment and Games)** **The Role** Lead technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions, driving platform adoption, and serving as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads and architects. Combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to position Databricks as the foundation of customers' data and AI strategy. **Key Responsibilities** • Own end-to-end technical strategy from discovery through production deployment • Lead complex architecture discussions for data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics • Serve as trusted technical advisor to customer architects and engineering leaders • Drive technical wins in competitive scenarios • Develop technical specialization and become a go-to resource for your team • Orchestrate cross-functional resources to deliver comprehensive solutions • Influence product direction through structured customer feedback **Required Qualifications** • 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales, or senior technical role • Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL with live coding and debugging skills • Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture • Proficiency on Databricks Platform with developing technical specialization • Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders • Production deployment experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP • Track record of driving platform adoption and consumption growth • Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or quantitative discipline **Nice to Have** • Databricks certifications (Data Engineer, ML, Platform) • Experience with competitive platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure Synapse) • Background in data/AI company or cloud provider • Industry domain expertise (Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, Media, etc.) **Compensation** Base Salary Range: $180,000 – $247,500 USD (all zones) Includes eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. **Interview Process** Recruiter Screen → Hiring Manager Screen → Design and Architecture Interview → Live Coding Assessment → Build, Demo, Pitch Presentation → Reference Check
