**Data Engineer – Army Vantage / Palantir Foundry - Clearance Required** **Overview** LMI is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support the U.S. Army Training Information System (ATIS) program. This hands-on role develops, maintains, and improves ATIS data products and integrations, with a primary focus on Army Vantage and Palantir Foundry capabilities. **Key Responsibilities** • Develop, maintain, and enhance ATIS data products, pipelines, and dashboards within Army Vantage/Palantir Foundry • Design and build production-quality data pipelines using Python, SQL, PySpark, and native Foundry capabilities • Develop and maintain Foundry ontology objects, relationships, and data models • Integrate authoritative ATIS data with Vantage/Foundry and Army enterprise data sources • Diagnose and resolve end-to-end data quality and integration issues • Develop Foundry-native dashboards, applications, and reports • Implement data-quality validation, monitoring, and error handling • Apply software engineering practices including version control, testing, and CI/CD • Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and users to translate mission needs into technical solutions • Document solutions and build team capability **Required Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 4+ years of professional data engineering, data integration, or software development experience • Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and/or Army Vantage • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python • Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines • Data modeling experience (schemas, keys, relationships, transformations) • Experience with Foundry ontology or semantic data models • PySpark, Spark, or Pandas experience • Demonstrated troubleshooting ability across data pipelines and production systems • Independent work capability with strong collaboration skills • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • **Active DoD Secret security clearance** **Preferred Qualifications** • Direct experience with Army Vantage data products • DoD/Army authoritative data source integration experience • Foundry-native application and dashboard development • Git, peer review, automated testing, and CI/CD experience • APIs and cloud data services familiarity • Agile/SAFe ART environment experience • DoD 8140 cybersecurity qualification • Army, DoD, or federal mission systems support experience **Compensation & Location** Target Salary: $120,000 - $155,000 Location: US-Remote *Salary varies based on location, experience, qualifications, and security clearance level.*
