## Staff Fullstack Engineer ### The Mission At Ordergroove, Platform Engineering builds the engine powering the subscription economy. We're seeking a **product-minded Staff Software Engineer** who defines success by business outcomes. You'll own foundational platform capabilities end-to-end and help define modern platform engineering in an AI-first company. ### What You Will Do - **Pioneer the AI-First Platform:** Build next-generation APIs, SDKs, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers for engineers and AI agents - **Own Core Capabilities End-to-End:** Architect mission-critical systems from domain models to distributed event-driven architectures, enterprise identity (OIDC, OAuth, SSO), and order processing - **Design for Massive Scale:** Ensure high availability, low latency, and fault tolerance across multi-tenant environments - **Champion "You Build It, You Run It":** Take complete accountability for service lifecycle—from understanding pain points to production optimization - **Architect Developer Experience:** Build intuitive tooling and reusable primitives enabling rapid development with minimal overhead ### Who You Are - A systems thinker with product empathy—you care about the *why* behind code - An architect of distributed systems with proven track record designing robust, high-scale APIs - Pragmatic and quality-driven—you write maintainable, production-ready software - Tech-agile and curious—experience with **Python, Go, Kubernetes, Event-Driven Systems, GCP** is valuable; engineering fundamentals matter most ### Engineering Principles - AI as a force multiplier for velocity and impact - Radical simplicity in system design - Trust as a product feature (security, reliability, correctness) - Maximum leverage—enabling the entire organization to succeed **Compensation:** Starting at $170,000 base + stock options + competitive benefits **About Ordergroove:** We power recurring revenue for major retailers (L'Oreal, Dollar Shave Club, BarkBox, and more).
