Trusted by 10,000+ customers worldwide (including 50%+ of the Fortune 100®), Conga helps companies manage commercial complexity with consistent buyer experiences and profitable growth. --- **Reports to:** Sr. manager, Software Engineering **Location:** Remote - United States (100% remote; telecommute/work from home from anywhere in the U.S.; reports to HQ - Houston) ## A quick snapshot As **Staff Software Engineer, DevOps**, you’ll establish and employ **Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)** patterns for successful software solutions. ## Related Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field (or equivalent) + **5+ years** designing solutions meeting security and operational standards on **AWS, Azure, OpenShift, and IBM Cloud** - Author and administer **IAM** constructs to enforce **least-privilege** access and strengthen security compliance (e.g., custom managed policies, inline policies, permission sets, permission boundaries, **Service Control Policies (SCPs)**) - Implement observability and centralized logging stacks including **ELK (Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana)**, **Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki** for monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and incident response - Build and deploy **CI/CD pipelines** using **Jenkins** and **Travis CI** to resolve build/release issues and standardize delivery workflows - Develop and maintain **Kubernetes Helm charts** and manage Kubernetes/Helm version upgrades across diverse environments - Deploy and administer **Rancher** for Kubernetes cluster management, including **RBAC** configuration and cluster standardization - Design and implement cloud cost optimization strategies using **AWS Cost Explorer**, billing reports, tagging-based cost allocation, and **Azure Cost Management** (cost/usage trends, cost allocation, unused/underutilized resources, rightsizing, autoscaling and scheduling optimization) - Implement and automate **Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)** driven provisioning and deployments using **Terraform** ## Education Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field (or equivalent). ## Compensation - **Salary Range (U.S. base):** **$168,675.15 - $229,900.00/year** - Variable incentive pay component, flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance **#LI-DNI** --- **Did we pique your interest?** If this sounds like the kind of job you would love in the kind of environment where you would thrive, please click **Apply**. **Preferred Resume Format** We accept resumes in any format (PDF or plain text recommended). **Don’t meet every requirement?** If you’re excited about the role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway. **Equal Opportunity Employer** Conga is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides equal employment opportunities to all applicants regardless of protected status.
