**Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Auth Experiences)** **About the Role** Join Affirm's Trust & Safety Experience team, owning customer journeys during authentication, verification, and fraud prevention. You'll work as a full-stack engineer contributing to backend, web, and mobile interfaces, building high-availability and low-latency systems. **Key Responsibilities** • Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team • Lead engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems • Collaborate with product, design, and analytics on ideation and technical decisions • Proactively identify and solve project, process, technology, and business issues • Support operations and availability through metrics, monitoring, and on-call efforts • Foster quality and ownership through code review standards and tech talks • Develop talent through feedback, guidance, and mentorship **What We're Looking For** • 4+ years developing and architecting web applications with React or Vue • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript • Experience designing elegant, simple, and extensible systems • Ability to make significant changes safely in large codebases • Demonstrated ownership of your growth and learning • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent practical experience **Compensation & Benefits** **Pay Grade:** N | **Equity Grade:** 9 **Base Pay (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT):** $195,000 - $255,000/year **Base Pay (Other US States):** $173,000 - $233,000/year • 100% subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage • Monthly stipends for health, wellness, and tech • Flexible time off and generous holidays • Employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) • Remote-first with flexibility **#LI-Remote**
