Join a collaborative, caring community focused on mission impact and growth through hands-on experience, certifications, and training. **Job Description** Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced **DoD Security Operations Engineer** to support the Joint Staff, CNMF, and CMTs in the planning, development, execution, and analysis of full-spectrum cyber operations. **The Work** - Monitor and analyze system logs, network traffic, and user behavior to identify potential security threats - Use tools such as intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and SIEM/security event management to detect security incidents - Conduct thorough investigations after an incident to determine nature, scope, and impact - Coordinate with incident response teams to contain, mitigate, and remediate confirmed security incidents - Stay current on threat intelligence, attack trends, and security best practices - Document incidents, investigations, and resolutions to maintain a comprehensive record of security events - Develop and refine enterprise-level security policies, procedures, and best practices **Here’s What You Need** - Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related) - Minimum **5 years** of experience managing a **Security Operations Center (SOC)** - Expertise with GovCloud service providers and **AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud** (including various impact levels) - Strong cybersecurity and technical expertise (security protocols, threat landscape, incident management) - Experience with SOC tools and frameworks such as **SIEM, IDS/IPS, NIST**, and compliance regulations - **DoD 8140 / DoD 8570 IAM Level III** certification **Bonus Points If You Have** - Cyber expertise to coordinate development, operational acceptance, and training for cyber operations systems/platforms/infrastructure supporting CNMF operations - Understanding of the cyber operations infrastructure development process and cycle - Ability to support operational employment of cyber operations systems/platforms/infrastructure **Security Clearance** - Must have an active **TS/SCI** security clearance **Pay Range (where applicable)** - **$126,300 – $243,100 USD** *Note: Compensation varies based on factors such as office location, role, skill set, and experience.
