**Cyber Engineer** **About the role** At Accenture Federal Services, you’ll bridge the gap between infrastructure and security operations. You’ll deploy, manage, and optimize the platform to provide security teams with deep network visibility. **Key Responsibilities** - **Platform Deployment:** Lead physical, virtual, and cloud-based deployment of the Open NDR SaaS platform across diverse enterprise architectures. - **Data Integration & Pipelines:** Connect sensor data ingestion pipelines and stream network evidence into existing SOC workflows, SIEM platforms, and XDR/EDR tools (e.g., Splunk, Elastic). - **Detection & Rule Engineering:** Tune detection capabilities, customize Zeek scripts, and optimize analytics frameworks (e.g., Suricata rulesets) to catch advanced attacks and lateral movement. **Here’s What You Need** - **5+ years** combined experience in cybersecurity, network security, and systems engineering. - Strong familiarity with **Network Security Monitoring (NSM)**, **PCAP**, **encrypted traffic inspection**, and the **open-source Zeek** framework. - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., **Python**) to build custom tools that automate telemetry enrichment and response playbooks. **Security Requirements** - **Active TS/SCI** **Compensation (base pay range)** - **$106,300 – $221,100 USD** (varies by location and factors such as role, skills, and experience)
