Join a collaborative, caring community where you’re empowered to grow through hands-on experience, certifications, industry training, and more. --- ## Job Description Accenture Federal Services is seeking an **Information Security Consulting Manager** to manage the cybersecurity compliance of systems deployed in an **AWS government cloud environment** for a **client self-hosted ServiceNow implementation**. --- ## The Work - Define and execute the security strategy for infrastructure and cloud platforms, aligned to business risk and objectives. - Lead architecture and implementation of scalable, automated security controls across **AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem** environments. - Drive secure cloud migration initiatives and hyperscale adoption, ensuring a robust security posture throughout the transition. - Oversee security for network, server, authentication systems, certificates, and operational tooling in hybrid and cloud-native environments. - Establish and maintain controls for certificate lifecycle management, **cloud IAM**, and secure credential management. - Champion operational excellence through automation, outage reduction, and service resilience improvements. - Represent Security Engineering in architecture reviews, incident response, and compliance initiatives for both infrastructure and cloud. - Mentor and develop engineers, fostering secure engineering practices and a growth mindset across teams. - Stay current with industry threats, trends, and mitigation techniques related to infrastructure and cloud security. --- ## Here is what you need - Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate **AI** into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving (e.g., AI-powered tools, workflow automation, analyzing AI-driven insights). - **10+ years** of hands-on security engineering experience, including **5 years in cloud security** (**AWS, Azure, GCP**). - Deep expertise in operating system and server security (**Linux, Windows**), enterprise networking, and secure network architectures. - Advanced proficiency in scripting and automation (**Python, Bash, Go**, etc.). --- ## Bonus points if you have - Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent experience. - Certifications such as **CISSP, CISA, CISM**. - Experience with tools including **XACTA** and **eMASS**. - **AWS Cloud Certifications**. - Proven experience with cloud migration, hyperscaler environments, and securing hybrid cloud architectures. - Strong understanding of IAM services (LDAP/Directory Services, SAML, FIDO2, cloud-native IAM), password-less authentication, and **PKI**. - Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management (**Puppet, Ansible, Terraform**). - Experience with **Splunk** and SIEM/log management systems. - Expertise in hardware virtualization, cloud-native services, and automation of operations/capacity planning. - System performance tuning, service monitoring, and advanced troubleshooting in cloud and hybrid environments. - Familiarity with regulatory/industry frameworks (**FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, SOC 2, SOX, GDPR**). - Ability to analyze and assess complex problems quickly and efficiently. - Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and cros
