Join a collaborative, caring community where you’re empowered to grow through hands-on experience, certifications, industry training, and more. **Role Overview** The Security Architecture Specialist will work within the Security Architecture, Engineering and Risk Tower in the CISO organization, supporting the AFS IT Enterprise Security Engineering Team (ESE) and the Security Architecture and Engineering (ITSAE) tower. **Key Responsibilities** - Track ATO projects for the AFS IT Enterprise Security Engineering Team (ITESE), including input to project tracking sheets and the Summary project tracker. - Provide daily standup input on the status of new applications toward ATO and SIA review. - Work with the ITESE lead to document strategies for IESE and Compliance workflows. - Implement and interpret ITESE work processes and link them to Compliance processes (ConMon). - Support ITESE activities such as assessments of controls for applications, documentation of control responses, and process improvements. - Review control assessments for completeness and alignment to control objectives; escalate issues to the ITESE team lead and follow up as needed. - Identify where AFS Enterprise Standards should be applied within control reviews of ATO projects and SIA reviews. - Create/update documentation for new processes and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during yearly update cycles or as changes are needed. - Collaborate with ITESE lead and project stakeholders to review requirements and meet service objectives. - Participate in ATO development by assessing service requirements and ATO deliverables. - Coordinate meetings with application stakeholder teams to gather responses for ATO documents. - Attend department, tower, and other assigned meetings. - Collaborate across the IT Enterprise Security Engineering Department (ITESE) and the Security Architecture, Engineering, and Risk (ITSAE) tower. **What You Need** - U.S. Citizen (required) - 2–3 years of working experience in information security or a relevant field - Experience with **NIST 800-171 r2** or **NIST 800-53** - Knowledge of US security requirements - Familiarity with policy, standard, procedure, and baseline structure - Ability to adapt to rapid changes in business needs, processes, and technologies **Bonus (Preferred)** - 2+ years of experience in security architecture (or relevant experience) - Experience maintaining and operating security technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security) - Understanding of secure web application/network protocols (HTTP(S), TLS, SFTP, etc.) - Experience with US security requirements tied to regulations/standards such as NIST SP 800-171, 800-53, RMF, SOX, DFARS, etc. - Experience using Agile in project or architecture/engineering teams - Certifications: **CC**, **CISA** **Pay Transparency (Where Required)** Base pay range for the listed locations (CA, CO, HI, IL, ME, MD, MA, MN, NJ, NY, VT, VA, WA, DC, and Cleveland) is **$78,600 – $160,200 USD**. **Equal Employment Opportunity** Accenture Federal Services is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal opportunities, including reasonable accommodations when needed.
