Apply structured problem-solving, foundational cyber principles, and modern security tools to protect sensitive information and support agency operations. **What You'll Do** • Support cybersecurity assessments aligned to federal frameworks (NIST 800-series, FISMA, OMB guidance) • Conduct vulnerability scanning, analysis, and POA&M updates using industry tools and AI-enabled GRC platforms • Assist in drafting and maintaining cybersecurity documentation (SSPs, SOPs, policies, baselines) • Analyze threats, risks, and system weaknesses to inform remediation activities • Participate in stakeholder engagement and change-management efforts supporting cyber initiatives **Basic Qualifications** • Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM or adjacent field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering) with graduation by August 31, 2027 • Strong academic track record (3.2+ cumulative GPA) from a 4-year accredited institution • U.S. citizenship required (federal contract requirement) • Ability to travel 25-50% preferred (varies by team and location) **Preferred Qualifications** • Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threats, and security frameworks • Strong networking fundamentals and deep understanding of operating systems
