**Accenture Federal Services — Microsoft Developer (Power Platforms)** **About the role** Join Accenture Federal Services to help the U.S. federal government make the nation stronger and safer. You’ll support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise business applications and workflow automation solutions using the **Microsoft Power Platform**. **What you’ll do** **Application Design and Development** - Design, develop, configure, and maintain business applications using **Microsoft Power Apps** - Build **Canvas Apps**, **Model-Driven Apps**, and custom pages based on approved requirements - Translate wireframes, process diagrams, user stories, and functional requirements into working applications - Apply application-design principles (usability, accessibility, responsive design, modularity, maintainability) - Develop reusable components, templates, formulas, and common application functions - Configure forms, views, business rules, validation logic, and role-based user experiences - Participate in application-design reviews and recommend practical technical solutions - Troubleshoot and resolve application performance, usability, and functional issues **Power Automate Development** - Design, develop, test, and maintain **Power Automate cloud flows** - Automate business processes involving approvals, notifications, document routing, data synchronization, task assignments, and scheduled activities - Integrate Power Apps with **Dataverse, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, SQL Server**, and other enterprise systems - Implement conditions, loops, parallel branches, child flows, approval processes, and scheduled workflows - Configure error handling, retry logic, exception management, logging, and operational notifications - Diagnose failed or slow-running flows and implement corrective actions - Optimize workflows to reduce unnecessary actions, connector calls, and processing time
