**Cyber AI Deployment Engineer** **Location:** DC Metro **Overview** Accenture Federal's Secure AI Breach and Exploit Research Team (SABER) is seeking a hybrid technologist skilled in full-stack engineering, advanced penetration testing, and AI-driven security automation. You'll operate and enhance an internal AI Harness capable of scanning code repositories for vulnerabilities, performing automated triage, generating remediation insights, and integrating with CI/CD pipelines. **Key Responsibilities** **AI Harness Operations & Automation** • Run, monitor, and optimize AI-powered harness (FedCyber.ai) for vulnerability scanning across multiple languages and frameworks • Integrate AI-powered SAST/DAST/SCA insights into developer workflows and CI/CD pipelines • Develop custom AI assistive components to improve detection accuracy and exploitability ranking • Automate security analysis tasks and build scalable scanning workflows • Analyze and customize remediation options with clients for immediate patch rollout **Secure Full-Stack Development** • Design, develop, test, and deploy secure applications using modern frameworks (React, Node.js, Python, Java, Go) • Implement secure coding practices and infrastructure-as-code (Azure, AWS, GCP preferred) • Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to embed security controls into SDLC **Penetration Testing & Offensive Security** • Lead penetration testing engagements targeting web apps, APIs, cloud services, and infrastructure • Perform threat modeling, exploit development, and vulnerability research • Validate AI-generated findings via manual analysis and offensive techniques • Develop testing scripts and tooling for complex systems **Collaboration & Governance** • Work with developers, architects, and cyber teams to prioritize fixes • Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences • Contribute to security standards and AI/ML model governance **Required Qualifications** • Minimum 2 years in Cybersecurity, Software Development, AI/ML, DevSecOps, DevOps, Cloud Computing, or Systems Engineering • Strong software development and coding foundation • Penetration testing and/or Red Team operations experience • Knowledge of vulnerability classes (OWASP, cloud security, containerization, supply chain risks) • Proficiency with SAST, DAST, and SCA tools • Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) • Familiarity with ML concepts, LLMs, agent-based systems, or AI/ML-powered security tools • Flexibility to work onsite in DC Metro as needed **Preferred Qualifications** • Experience customizing or developing AI-driven cybersecurity tools • AI/ML-assisted security scanning experience • Reverse engineering or malware analysis background (Ghidra, IDA, Radare) • Offensive security certifications (OSCP, OSWE, OSEP, GXPN, CREST) • Experience in regulated or classified environments • Knowledge of zero-trust architectures and secure software supply chain practices **Compensation** Base pay range: $126,300 – $243,100 USD (for CA, CO, HI, IL, ME, MD, MA, MN, NJ, NY, VT, VA, WA, DC, and Cleveland) Accenture Federal Services offers comprehensive benefits.
