**Forward Deployed Data Engineer - Databricks** **About the Role** Join Accenture Federal Services to deliver end-to-end, production-grade data and AI solutions on Databricks platforms. You'll partner with engineers, program managers, and domain specialists to architect and build applications that drive real impact for US federal government clients. **Day-to-Day Responsibilities** • Design and build scalable data pipelines, APIs, and user-facing applications using Spark and modern big-data engines • Design and build Databricks Apps (front-end and back-end components) • Integrate LLMs and AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) into applications and data workflows • Deploy solutions to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and monitor production systems • Debug complex issues across the full stack • Implement CI/CD workflows, automated testing, and secure production deployments • Ensure data governance and security through best practices like Unity Catalog • Partner directly with customer stakeholders to define requirements and provide technical guidance • Produce clear documentation and technical enablement materials **What We're Looking For** • Full-stack engineering experience with Databricks platforms • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages • Experience delivering customer-facing technical solutions • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • CI/CD pipeline and production deployment experience • Ability to obtain Databricks Data Engineer Professional certification • US Citizen with ability to obtain federal security clearance • Willingness to travel as needed **Bonus Skills** • Experience with Databricks on both E2 and PVC • Hands-on LLM/AI API integration experience • Active Federal security clearance **Compensation** Base pay range (select locations): $100,200 – $243,100 USD *Accenture Federal Services is a Glassdoor Top 100 Best Place to Work offering competitive benefits and growth opportunities.*
