About this role

**RHEL System Administrator (Cameo Administrator)** **About the role** At Accenture Federal Services, you’ll help support the US federal government by monitoring and maintaining Cameo systems. You’ll ensure the integrity and accessibility of server resources, hardware, systems, and key processes—while supporting engineering and solutioning efforts. You’ll also monitor system health and performance to help maintain high availability, support product quality, and work closely with PM and government technical leads to use essential tools for handling files, directories, command-line environments, and documentation. **Key responsibilities** - Monitor and maintain Cameo systems in a cloud environment - Create and document technical standards and procedures - Administer, configure, and troubleshoot user profile issues in a virtual desktop environment - Monitor and optimize storage disk usage for virtual desktops - Create and delete user sessions and profiles in a virtual desktop environment - Provide technical support to a large user community (including user groups, permissions, and accessibility) - Create, maintain, and update documentation (SOPs and RunBooks) - Maintain a detailed work product backlog in **JIRA** and support Agile status updates to senior leadership - Support security and engineering teams with software versioning, scanning, patching, and compliance with **ATO/accreditation** standards - Assist with user role management and user support **Here’s what you need** - Understand, configure, and implement systems using **Linux command-line** in a cloud environment - Maintain integrity and accessibility of server resources, hardware, systems, and key processes - Ensure high availability of systems and services - Troubleshoot user profile issues in a virtual desktop environment - Monitor and optimize virtual desktop storage - Create/delete user sessions and profiles - Support user support, groups/permissions, and user accessibility - Maintain documentation and an Agile backlog of work items - Manage work and change management requests in **JIRA** - Assist security/engineering teams to meet security standards compliance **Bonus points if you have** - IAT Level II certification - Proven experience as a Red Hat Systems Administrator - Strong knowledge of **Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)** command line - Familiarity with **XRDP**, image creation, and deployment of a virtual desktop - Understanding of managing multiple users’ sessions (e.g., sessman) - Knowledge of **Cameo NoMagic** - Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or Perl) - Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible or Puppet) - Networking concepts and protocols - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Working knowledge of **JIRA** (preferred) - **Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)** **Security requirements** - **Top Secret Clearance with SCI** is required **Pay range (where applicable)** - **$100,200 – $203,400 USD** *Accenture Federal Services accepts applications on an ongoing basis (no fixed deadline).*
