**Software Engineering Lead** **About the role** - Oversee software development and integration for the Client System’s software components (infrastructure, data tools, and user interfaces). - Translate system engineering designs into robust software designs. - Design, implement, and maintain source code, **Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)**, and **Configuration-as-Code**. - Write clean, maintainable, efficient code and create comprehensive unit tests. - Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot defects, and optimize for performance and scalability. - Integrate with APIs and external systems. - Apply security best practices during development. - Collaborate with UI/UX designers and database specialists to implement user interfaces and data models. - Document code, APIs, and technical designs; participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups). - Stay current with emerging technologies and development practices. **Must have** - 10+ years of software development and integration experience - 3+ years deploying cloud resources using **IaC/CaC templates** in **AWS, Azure, or GCP** - 3+ years using **DevSecOps pipelines** to deploy software packages in **AWS or Azure** - Demonstrated expertise designing, coding, testing, and maintaining complex software solutions - Must meet **DoD 8140** requirements - Bachelor’s degree (or 4 additional years of equivalent experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field **Security Clearance** - Active **Secret**, **Top Secret**, **TS/SCI**, or **TS/SCI with Polygraph** (depending on position) **Compensation (range)** - **$135,200 – $278,500 USD** (base pay range for listed locations) *Accenture Federal Services is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and supports reasonable accommodations during the hiring process.*
