**AWS Cloud Engineer** **About the Role:** Accenture Federal Services is seeking an AWS Engineer to lead the design, build, and automation of cutting-edge cloud infrastructure in a DevSecOps environment. Design secure, scalable, and highly available platforms on AWS with expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container orchestration with EKS, and CI/CD pipelines. **Key Responsibilities:** • Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure AWS environments • Implement and manage core AWS services: VPC, Transit Gateway, EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, EBS, RDS • Architect and operate containerized workloads using Amazon EKS • Implement security controls, encryption, and access management (DISA STIGs compliance) • Provide cloud expertise and guidance to development teams • Evaluate cloud-native technologies and recommend solutions • Champion best practices including Git workflows and AI tool adoption **Required Skills & Experience:** • 3+ years of cloud engineering experience • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience • CompTIA Security+ certification **Preferred Qualifications:** • VMware vSphere in hybrid cloud context • Configuration management tools (Ansible) • Other public clouds (Azure, GCP) • Programming languages: Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript • Authentication mechanisms: OIDC, OAuth2, LDAP, SAML • Open-source project contributions • AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, CKA, or HashiCorp Terraform certifications **Clearance:** Active TS/SCI required **Compensation:** $133,400 – $170,100 USD (select locations)
