About this role
**Who you are** The Software Developer/Engineer will engage in hands-on software development and integration for system software components, including infrastructure, data tools, and user interfaces. You’ll translate system engineering designs into robust software solutions, ensuring quality and scalability. **The work** - Perform software development and integration for system components - Translate system engineering designs into software designs - Design, implement, and maintain source code, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and Configuration-as-Code (CaC) - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards - Create comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality - Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge - Troubleshoot and resolve software defects - Optimize code for performance and scalability - Integrate with APIs and external systems - Implement security best practices in code development - Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user interfaces - Work with database specialists to design and implement data models - Document code, APIs, and technical designs - Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups) - Stay current with emerging technologies and development practices **What you need** - Bachelor’s degree - 4 years of software development, UI/UX Design/Engineering, or Front-End development experience **Security Clearance** - Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required (depending on position) **Compensation (where applicable)** - Base pay range: **$78,600 – $160,200 USD** (for the listed locations) **Equal Employment Opportunity** Accenture Federal Services is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and is committed to creating a culture of respect, belonging, and equal opportunity.
