**DevOps / Platform Engineer** **About the Role** Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to join our secure cloud platform team supporting government customers at Hill Air Force Base. This execution-focused role emphasizes strong DevOps engineering depth, designing and operating CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and platform tooling for rapid, secure delivery across complex government programs. **Key Responsibilities** **DevOps & Platform Engineering** • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable delivery • Build and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CDK • Operate platform engineering tooling including Crossplane, Backstage, and Argo CD • Implement GitOps workflows using GitLab and/or GitHub • Manage containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker **Cloud Infrastructure & Operations** • Design secure, scalable cloud architectures on AWS GovCloud and Azure Government • Configure network architecture, VPC design, and load balancing • Manage identity and access management using least-privilege principles • Administer Linux and Windows systems with monitoring and alerting • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and optimize performance **Security & Compliance** • Implement security controls aligned with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and DISA STIG • Integrate automated security scanning into CI/CD pipelines • Support security audits, ATO processes, and compliance assessments • Manage encryption, key management, and access controls **Required Experience** • 3+ years of cloud engineering and/or infrastructure experience • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices • Experience in classified environments (NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, or equivalent) • Background in systems engineering, networking, and/or security hardening • GitOps and IaC expertise: Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK • CI/CD pipeline experience: GitLab and/or GitHub • Kubernetes proficiency and Docker experience • Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripting • Strong AWS experience (GovCloud preferred) **Bonus Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field • Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure) • CompTIA Security+, Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD), or CISSP • Government cloud experience • Configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet) • Advanced networking and multi-cloud architecture experience **Requirements** • Must possess an active Top Secret level security clearance or higher • Hybrid work arrangement **Compensation** Base pay range varies by location.
