## Site Reliability Engineer (DevOps) Accenture Federal Services (AFS) is seeking a **Site Reliability Engineer** to support a client on a **full-time** basis in **Reston, VA** or **Annapolis Junction, MD**. This role requires hands-on experience across **programming, database management, containerization, virtualization, and security practices**. You’ll apply strong technical skills to help ensure **reliable, secure, and efficient systems** in a dynamic environment. ### What you’ll do - Support reliable operations across multiple systems and environments - Apply security and compliance practices, including vulnerability scanning and secure data/API handling - Use programming/scripting and database skills to support system reliability ### Here’s what you need - **BS or MS** in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field, **or 4 years equivalent experience** - Experience with programming/scripting languages such as **Python, SQL, Bash, Java, C, or C++** - Experience with **SQL** and modern database technologies (e.g., **SQL Developer, PostgreSQL, MongoDB**) - Experience with **security and compliance** practices, including: - Vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., **Nessus**) - Governance/compliance tools (e.g., **GRC**) - Secure data/API handling aligned with frameworks like **GDPR** ### Bonus points if you have - Experience with **containerization or virtualization** (e.g., **Kubernetes (K9s), Docker**, or virtual machine environments) - Ability to provide **on-call support 24/7**, with no more than **one week every two months** - **DoD 8570 Baseline Certifications** (e.g., **Security+, CySA+, CASP+, CCSP**) - **CompTIA Server+** and/or **CompTIA A+** certifications ### Clearance - **Must have an active clearance** (details not fully visible in the provided description)
