## ServiceNow Engineer – Junior ### About the role The ServiceNow Engineer (Junior) helps lead the ServiceNow team in designing and developing ServiceNow out-of-the-box and custom solutions. ### What you’ll do - Develop applications, including configuration, report development, and data migration (where applicable) - Analyze, design, code, and test multiple components across one or more modules - Perform custom development (as required) and 3rd-party integrations - Carry out unit testing and defect resolution - Migrate changes to production - Assist with technical design and documentation - Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members to build ServiceNow solutions that meet business requirements - Interact with clients, managers, and end users to analyze project objectives and capability requirements (including UI specifications and customized applications/interactions) - Partner with clients and leadership to define and document challenges, desired outcomes, risks/dependencies, and the vision/strategy - Support the Product Owner with backlog/roadmap refinement and planning/prioritization activities - Assist the Support Team with escalated issues related to internal and customer-facing ServiceNow environments (e.g., customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, workflows) - Provide effort estimates for new projects and enhancements; design, code, and test solutions; analyze and mitigate issues found during testing - Follow an iterative software development methodology and contribute across the full software development lifecycle - Maintain a flexible, proactive approach to respond to changing requirements and innovate to meet mission goals
