About this role
**The Work** This is a multi-year program to consolidate 4 SAP ECC systems into a single composable ERP platform. The SAP Finance Consultant will migrate existing capabilities from the current SAP ECC instances into the new consolidated SAP S/4HANA transactional core using industry-standard tools such as SNP’s Crystalbridge. You should have **SAP Public Sector Finance** subject matter expertise in the **Funds Management (FM)** module, including how FM integrates with other finance modules such as: - General Ledger (GL) - Accounts Payable (AP) - Accounts Receivable (AR) - Asset Accounting Within Funds Management, you must be able to **track and control detailed budgets** organized by: - **Fund** (source of budget) - **Funds center** (area of responsibility) - **Commitment item** (type of expenditure) **Configuration experience** and the ability to create a budget for each level of this 3-dimensional structure are essential. --- **Key Responsibilities** - Gather requirements and design solutions to meet them - Facilitate interaction with technical counterparts to ensure functional requirements are met - Develop test strategies and manage large, complex test efforts - Perform business process design and system analysis - Coordinate across architects, developers, technical services (e.g., BASIS, Middleware, Portal), and business analysts - Maintain, enhance, and/or develop SAP modules, including interfacing with other applications - Experience with budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning - May manage a team, including mentoring and training junior team members --- **Here’s What You Need** - 4+ years of **SAP ECC Finance** experience - **Funds Management** experience --- **Nice to Have** - Experience with **ECC to S/4HANA migration** projects using tools such as **SNP Crystalbridge** or **SAP DMLT** - Team lead experience - Relevant SAP certifications - Bachelor’s degree in a related field --- **Eligibility Requirements** - **US Citizen** (no dual citizenship) - Must be eligible to obtain a **government Secret Clearance** - Willingness to travel up to **25%**
