**Integration Engineer** **About the role** The Integration Engineer will perform the software integration activities required for the Client System. You’ll ensure disparate software components—including infrastructure, data services, and user interfaces—work together seamlessly as a complete system. **Key responsibilities** - Design and execute integration tests; troubleshoot complex issues across system environments - Develop and maintain integration strategies, plans, and continuous integration practices/tools - Implement automated integration test suites - Manage dependencies between components and systems; coordinate integration activities across multiple teams - Establish integration environments that accurately reflect production - Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues; document integration points and interfaces - Implement service virtualization for testing - Validate API implementations against specifications - Monitor and report on integration metrics and success rates - Implement integration patterns such as message queues, APIs, and event-driven architectures - Collaborate with development teams to ensure components are designed for integration - Participate in architecture discussions and stay current with integration technologies and best practices **Must have** - 8 years of experience in integration and/or software engineering - Bachelor’s degree (or an additional 4 years of equivalent experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field **Security Clearance** - Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required (depending on position)
