**Cybersecurity Research Engineer** **About the Role:** Accenture Federal Services is seeking experienced DoD Cyber Security Engineers to support planning, development, execution, and analysis of full spectrum cyber operations. **Key Responsibilities:** • Perform malware analysis and incident handling • Draft and implement security incident response policies • Conduct dynamic and static analysis and reverse engineering of intrusion artifacts • Develop Government-approved technical analysis reports • Identify indicators, TTPs, patterns, and heuristics for detection strategies • Collaborate with anti-virus vendors on malware submissions • Extract malicious files from digital media and sources • Analyze and document adversarial activities targeting DoD systems • Develop analysis reports determining malware sophistication and threat level • Examine media and malware reports to correlate events and TTPs • Develop metrics and trending reports of malicious activity • Conduct log and system analysis (routers, Windows, UNIX) • Identify vulnerabilities, analyze malicious code behavior, and develop mitigation strategies • Conduct lifecycle analysis of cyber attacks and associated tools/malware • Craft policy, guidance, and procedures for malware exploitation operations **Required Qualifications:** • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline (or 5+ years equivalent experience) • Experience with languages: C, C++, Python, Assembly, and/or Java • Expertise with tools: IDA Pro, Ghidra, OllyDbg, x64dbg, or similar • **Active TS/SCI security clearance required** **Compensation:** $126,300 – $243,100 USD (for select locations) **About Accenture Federal Services:** Glassdoor Top 100 Best Place to Work.
