**Senior Database Admin** **About the Role** The PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing PostgreSQL database instances deployed in cloud environments. This role ensures high availability, strong security posture, reliable performance, and alignment with enterprise compliance requirements. You’ll collaborate with cloud engineering, application development, cybersecurity, and DevOps teams to maintain scalable, resilient, and well-governed data platforms. You’ll also migrate an access database to PostgreSQL and create new databases as needed. **What You’ll Do** - Manage, secure, and optimize PostgreSQL instances in cloud environments - Ensure high availability, strong security, and reliable performance - Support compliance requirements and enterprise governance - Partner with cross-functional teams (cloud, app dev, cybersecurity, DevOps) - Migrate an Access database to PostgreSQL - Create and maintain new databases as needed **Here’s What You Need** Experience with: - Data modeling techniques and methodologies - Triggers & stored procedures - PostgreSQL - Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) **Eligibility Requirements** - U.S. Citizen **Pay Range (where applicable)** $91,300 — $184,900 USD **Additional Notes** - Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no fixed deadline to apply. - Accenture Federal Services is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and supports reasonable accommodations.
