**Accenture Federal Services — Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Developer** ## The Work Accenture Federal Services (AFS) is seeking a **Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Developer** to support a **mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) client**. This role supports large-scale systems integration and modernization using **Oracle technologies, middleware, and enterprise integration platforms**. You’ll build SOA-based integrations, support enterprise applications, and work in **Agile teams** delivering **secure, reliable, and scalable** solutions for defense missions. ## Key Responsibilities ### SOA & Integration Development - Design, build, and maintain **SOA composite applications** including **BPEL processes**, **Mediator services**, **ESB integrations**, **Oracle Service Bus (OSB)**, and **SOAP/REST services** using **Oracle SOA Suite** components. - Develop integration solutions supporting **logistics, supply chain, and enterprise business operations** in a DoD environment. - Collaborate with analysts, developers, and testers to translate functional requirements into technical design and integration patterns. ### Technical Delivery & Support - Support system interface troubleshooting, **root-cause analysis**, and integration defect resolution across **Oracle EBS** and associated middleware platforms. - Participate in **code reviews**, **integration validations**, and **release readiness** activities. - Contribute to technical design sessions, system walkthroughs, and solution refinement discussions. ### Quality, Documentation & Compliance - Produce technical documentation, mapping specs, and test evidence following **AFS and DoD client standards**. - Ensure development aligns with **federal cybersecurity**, **configuration management**, and **quality assurance** requirements. - Maintain compliance with data handling and security policies appropriate for DoD environments. ## Here’s What You Need - **BS/BA** - **4+ years** hands-on experience with **Oracle SOA Suite** (BPEL, Mediator, OSB/ESB) and service-oriented integration development - Proficiency with **XML, XSD, WSDL, XSLT, and Web Services** - **4+ years** experience with **Java, PL/SQL, or similar** technologies supporting enterprise integration - Strong troubleshooting skills (analyzing **logs, payloads, and service flows**) - **4+ years** experience working in **Agile** development environments ## Bonus Points If You Have - Experience configuring and implementing **Oracle B2B**, including **Document Editor** (Guideline Files, Definitions, Trading Partners, B2B Agreements) - Experience delivering integrations for **defense, federal, or other regulated environments** - Familiarity with **DevSecOps** platforms, automated testing tools, or **Oracle Cloud** technologies - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams ## Eligibility Requirements - **US Citizen** ## Security Clearance - Must have an active **Secret Clearance** ## Pay Range (where applicable) - **$86,400 — $176,200 USD** *Note: Compensation varies based on factors including location, role, skill set, and experience.
